As an MPL Member, you agree to the following terms:
- MPL Code of Conduct: You agree to abide by the MPL Code of Conduct.
- Payment Protection Plan: You agree to the Payment Protection Plan Terms and Conditions.
- Anti-Corruption Policy: You are bound by the MPL Anti-Corruption Policy.
- Legal Compliance: You agree to observe all relevant laws of your resident country regarding the movement of goods entrusted to you.
- Claims Processing: I would need to immediately file claims for loss or damage to freight with the responsible MPL Member, who will process the claim quickly and accurately.
- Arbitration: Upon request, the MPL Board of Directors will act as an Arbitration Committee to resolve disputes between Members.
- Communication of Bad Debts: Bad debts between MPL Members must be reported to sophie@marcopololine.com & robert@marcopololine.com for resolution by the Arbitration Committee.
- Liability for Bad Debts: While The MarcoPoloLine Group is not responsible for bad debts between Members, the Board of Directors retains the right to take appropriate action.
- Payment Terms: All payments to other Members must be made strictly according to the previously agreed payment terms.
- Business Dealings: You agree not to engage in business dealings with expelled and/or blacklisted former MPL Members, as this could jeopardize your membership.
- Membership Fees: You agree to pay your membership fees within 14 days of the invoice date.
- Grounds for Expulsion: An MPL Member can be expelled from The MarcoPoloLine Group for:
- Non-payment of Annual Subscription Fees
- Providing false information
- Incurring bad debt(s) with other MPL members
- The MPL Board of Directors can terminate membership without justification.
- Lack of activity within the Group
- Amendments: You further agree that these Terms and Conditions may be amended from time to time, and such amendments will be binding as incorporated herein.
Becoming an MPL Member acknowledges and accepts these terms and conditions.
