Members Status

One of the MarcoPoloLine Group (MPL) primary aims is to expand and provide our members with a professional and personal logistics network across all international borders.

MPL has introduced a new category within the Group – Probationary Members – to facilitate this goal. 

What is a Probationary Member?
A Probationary Member is an agent who has applied to join MPL but cannot provide an MPL reference (i.e., a prior business and financial relationship with an existing member), which has been a mandatory requirement until now.

Conditions for Probationary Membership:

• Eligibility: Probationary Members can only be accepted from countries where MPL currently lacks representation through normal channels.
  Visibility: Probationary Members will be clearly marked as such on the MPL website under the Network of Offices, making them easily distinguishable from full members.
  Introduction: New Probationary Members will be introduced to the Group with a clarification of their membership status.

Membership Benefits and Limitations:
PPP Coverage: MPL’s PPP (Partner Protection Program) does not cover probationary members, but they will be protected as soon as they are confirmed as Full Members.
Re-Application: After one year, Probationary Members will be required to re-apply and provide an MPL reference from an existing member with whom they have successfully engaged in business and financial transactions.

Identification:
Probationary Members will be listed under their respective country in the Network of Offices and will have a distinctive GREEN ‘P’ next to their information. Additionally, partners using the MPL CARE INSURANCE SERVICE will have their status shown on their label, as will those using the LCA (Legal Assistance Worldwide) service.
